On the nose, the exotic fruit salad is in full effect, with the acidity of passion fruit, the roundness of mango and cane sugar, followed by a softly spiced, very sweet, almost pastry-like rum.
On the palate, the punch's mellowness gives way to a fresh, natural fruitiness. The passion fruit lends a slight acidity that lightens the whole and complements the sweet-spiced rum. The sweet mango flavor lingers on the finish.
