A pure cane sugar rum.
Being more Rhum de Molasse than pure cane sugar rum, I wanted to try this rum. I knew their rhums arrangés, so I wanted to try this 10-year-old rum.
A beautiful mahogany color with aromas of caramel, brown sugar and spicy notes.
On the palate, Le isautier 10 ans shows its spicy side. Then, tangerine quickly arrives on the palate. Mentholated aromas gradually emerge.
The finish is long and spicy.
Personally, I wasn't seduced by this rum. Too spicy for my taste. I recommend it to lovers of spicy agricultural rums.
To be enjoyed as an after-dinner drink
