Clément 15 ans d'âge was made from vintages at least 15 years old. Maturation began with a year in new Limousin oak barrels, before continuing in American oak barrels that had previously contained bourbon.
Only 200-liter casks are used. They allow the rum to be in close contact with the wood throughout the time spent in the Habitation cellars. As a result, Clément 15 ans has a complex, fine woodiness.

Its color is amber with golden highlights.
On the nose, this is a complex, rich rum. It offers us woody notes of dried fruit, roasted aromas and light tobacco, as well as fruity, spicy notes of licorice, apple and discreet strawberry. The whole is balanced and pleasant, with a very broad palette.
On the palate, its fruitiness takes a back seat to an intense attack dominated by spices and dried fruit. Here, too, there is a balance between dryness and roundness.
The finish is long. Spices (pepper, among others) and mellow oak remain on the palate for a long time. Coffee makes a discreet comeback.
