Farigoule de Forcalquier is a liqueur from Haute-Provence. Farigoule means thyme in Provence.
To produce this liqueur, thyme is picked during flowering in the foothills of the Lure mountains. It is then dried and macerated with other plants such as sage, lemon verbena and angelica. Bottling takes place after blending and filtering the different macerates.
The distillery recommends Farigoule as a "Provençal" hole with a lemon sorbet, or simply chilled as a digestif.
