This coconut punch from Longueteau is made with fresh grated coconut, a maceration of Longueteau rum and vanilla, milk, nutmeg, lemon and a little sugar. A delicious treat...
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, a creamy punch that doesn't seem overly sweet. The aromatic register is freshly milky, with a soft, rather delicate coconut that doesn't overdo it. The impression is one of naturalness and lightness. One thinks of a simple, authentic, almost farmhouse product.
The palate is very smooth and creamy, and the first flavors are very milky. The rum then builds in strength, taking the coconut with it, a shy coconut that gradually comes to the fore. We appreciate the fact that this punch respects the coconut's flavors, which are naturally neither explosive nor overly sweet.
The finish is milky and greedy, with milk chocolate and rum cream.
"A natural, fine coconut punch, proof that you can also be subtle in this field..."
