Mount Gay is back with a new addition to its Master Blender Collection. This 5th bottling is entitled Madeira Cask Expression. Mount Gay is the oldest distillery on the island of Barbados.
This rum was distilled in a traditional column, then aged for 6 years in a tropical climate in Madeira wine casks. Trudiann Branker, the house's cellar master, chose this type of cask for this 5th opus.
This rum is not chill-filtered and has no additives. It has been bottled in 2706 numbered bottles.
