1731 Fine & Rare Panama is an 8-year-old rum made from molasses from Panama, a veritable sugarcane paradise.
The rum was distilled in a column still at the Varela Hermanos distillery, founded in 1908 in Herrera. Aging took place in 100% tropical conditions, in American oak barrels that had previously contained bourbon.
The rum was bottled in the Netherlands, without cold filtration or additives.
