Akashi Meisei is produced by Eigashima, Japan's oldest distillery. It is better known under the White Oak brand name. The Akashi range of Japanese whiskies is reserved for the French market.
Cuvée Meisei is aged in American oak casks. It is a blend of 45% single malt and the remainder grain whisky.
