This Indian Single Malt is the first 100% Indian single malt. It is also the first representative of the Amrut distillery's expertise.
It is made from malted barley from the Punjab provinces. Once distilled, it is aged in ex-bourbon casks in the Amrut cellars in Bangalore.
During ageing, it benefits from extreme climatic conditions, which play an important role in the exchange between the wood and the distillate. Another parameter impacted by the climate is the angels' share, which can be as high as 12% per year.
