Gianni Capovilla has run his eponymous company since 1986. This genius distiller produces eaux-de-vie from rare or endangered fruit varieties.
This is a brandy distilled for the Italian trading house Velier from pesche selvatiche, also known as pesche di vigna pasta rossa (vine peach).
To push craftsmanship to the limit, Capovilla bottles are laced, waxed and sealed by hand. The handwritten label serves as the fruit's identity card. It specifies the variety, the year of harvest and the quantity produced.
