This pink guava liqueur is made from the agricultural rum of the Damoiseau distillery in Guadeloupe. The entire range of Damoiseau fruit liqueurs uses freshly cut fruit and is bottled immediately with cane sugar and a vanilla pod.
The pink guava is a tropical fruit rich in vitamins which belongs to the Myrtaceae family. It is traditionally grown in the West Indies. A careful ripening of a few months allows to extract all its flavours.
Nico's tasting note
The nose is very fruity and sunny, with a guava tinged with floral scents like those of a rose or a geranium. A small sweet side takes care to make the whole quite cozy, so that we let ourselves gently go to this exotic reverie.
In the mouth, the arranged rum coats the taste buds like a liqueur, and invades the palate with its fruity and floral flavors. The guava is there, of course, but we can also cross some nuances of lychee and rose, as well as a point of sweet spices in the length.
"A very sweet rum with fruity, floral and sunny notes..."

Nice discovery; the association guava and rose is interesting
