This Dictador 2 Masters cuvée is the fruit of a collaboration between the Dictador house and the Niepoort estate.
Here, the "2 masters" are none other than Hernan Parra and Dirk Niepoort. The former is the Colombian distillery's master blender, and the latter has been at the helm of the Portuguese estate since 2005.
Dirk Niepoort created a blend of 4 casks from the 1971, 1974, 1978 and 1980 vintages. To bring out the best in these rums, he carried out a 15-month finish in two barrels containing 50-year-old port.
This is a limited edition of 620 bottles worldwide.
