Duppy Share White is a molasses rum, the brand's first white rum. It is a blend of pot still rums from the Clarendon, Worthy Park and Hampden distilleries.
It was created in collaboration with Kano, a British rapper of Jamaican origin. This rum was born of his memories, smells and flavors that reflect his Jamaican roots. The Jamaican inspiration can be seen on the label in the colors of the Jamaican flag. It also features his barbershop in East Ham and the Rex Club in Stratford, where he began his career as a rapper.
The brand's name refers to the legend of the "duppies", mischievous spirits known in the Caribbean. During barrel aging, some of the distillate evaporates each year, and it's these duppies who steal the best parts of the rum.
