This wild raspberry eau-de-vie comes from the Hepp distillery in Alsace.
It is obtained by maceration then distillation. No less than 8 kg of wild raspberries are needed to produce 1 liter of alcohol at 45°.
At the beginning of the 20th century, this small, rather rare forest fruit was used to produce brandy for princely tables.
