Ferroni Elixir du Suédois by Toussaint Blaize is an herbal liqueur in the style of Italian fernets. It is part of the Les Lumières series, a collection of long-defunct spirits reissued by Guillaume Ferroni.
This recipe, once very common in France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, was popularized by the Marseille herbalist Père Blaize, founded in 1815. It is said to have invigorating and even protective powers, as its Swedish creator is said to have lived to the age of 104!
