Born from a collaboration between Maison Ferroni and the French Foreign Legion, this pastis pays homage to the history and traditions of this elite corps.
Made from anise, licorice and plants harvested on the Puyloubier estate, including thyme, rosemary, wild fennel and bay leaf, it also incorporates ingredients echoing two significant episodes in the history of the French Foreign Legion: the Battle of Camerone (1863), evoked by the presence of Mexican tarragon, and the Indochina War (1946-1954), represented by plants originating from Cambodia.
This special edition Camerone 2006 is distinguished by the addition of two emblematic Mexican spices: lanepazote and ancho chili, which bring an original aromatic signature with delicately spicy notes.
By choosing this pastis, you are also supporting a charitable initiative: part of the proceeds from its sale is donated to the Institution of Invalids of the Foreign Legion in Puyloubier.
