Glenkinchie Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Lowlands, just outside Edinburgh.
Distilled in 2008, it was double-matured. The first part of the ageing took place in classic bourbon casks. A second maturation took place in Xeres Amontillado casks. This Andalusian wine is a dry sherry, halfway between fino and oloroso. Bottling took place in 2020, 12 years after casking.
