The sugarcane used to produce the molasses on which Grander Rum 8 ans is based comes from Panama's Herrara region.
The yeast used is grown locally. Distillation is continuous, using copper columns.
Kentucky bourbon barrels are used to age this rum. After 8 years of maturation, the blending of different barrels results in a rum of consistent quality throughout the bottling process.
No additives are added: no colorants, flavorings or sweeteners. No cold filtration either.
