This Grosperrin is a 1990 vintage cognac from a winegrower in the commune of Bonneville, located in the Fins Bois production area.
This small property in the Patreville area is typical of the region's family farms. The harvest of that year was stored at the ORECO (Organisation Économique du Cognac), under state control, from the time of distillation until June 2012. It was on this date that Guilhem Grosperrin became the owner. It has since been stored in the Grosperrin cellars on the banks of the Charente. A very gradual addition of water has allowed a small reduction in its alcohol content during this ageing period.
The cognac did not undergo any special treatment or addition of any additives during its bottling in January 2021.
