Isautier Douceur d'Arrangé Banane Flambée is a liqueur made from molasses rum. Founded in 1845, the Isautier family business is based on the tropical island of Réunion, in the heart of the Indian Ocean.
This recipe combines the smoothness of cream liqueur with the iconic flavor of banana flambé. Fruity, caramelized and delicious, it can be enjoyed fresh or as a cocktail base.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is composed of a candy-like banana and a soft, creamy side, like a cloud of rum. The candy side is reinforced by an acidic character that adds freshness.
On the palate, we find our milky, melted banana, which when served chilled is reminiscent of a milkshake. The confectionery side of this rum takes us towards the marshmallow and its mellow, powdery side.
"A banana treat, somewhere between a milkshake and a marshmallow..."
