Kyrö Wood Smoke Malt Rye Whisky is a 100% Finnish malted rye whisky.
Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the rye is dried and smoked over alder wood in a century-old smokehouse. Resembling a small Scandinavian hut, this smokehouse is called "riihi" in Finnish.
The cellar master uses several types of barrel for maturation. The casks used here are ex-bourbon, French oak and new American white oak.
This is not a peated whisky.
