This La Mauny rum owes its name to the color of the earth in the south of Martinique. A new fermentation process has been developed by the Master Distiller.
Mauny Blanc Ter Rouj' 45° can be enjoyed neat or used as a base for preparing a ti punch or a cocktail.
Laurent's tasting notes
Its color is perfectly translucent.
On the nose, fresh cane, of course! But not only that: floral aromas, influences of white pepper and, more discreetly, tropical fruit. A less dry nose than many agricultural whites.
On the palate, the 45° is very discreet on the attack. When you hold it for a few seconds before swallowing it, the alcohol is felt more and earthy notes are added to the fresh cane. In addition, a distinct salty note makes an appearance, very striking.
The finish is moderately long, remaining on the salty note while giving a second wind to the floral aromas.
