This Longueteau punch is made with lime, cane sugar and, above all, white rum from the distillery.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose immediately strikes a balance between tart lime juice, oily, slightly bitter rind, very pure rhum agricole and well-rounded cane sugar. These lemony notes are perfectly matched by the cane, which responds with an extra touch of freshness.
On the palate, the texture is very round and sweet, and one imagines that this was all that was needed to tame the liveliness of the lime. The lime leaves its oily bitterness on the tongue, which, with the presence of the rhum agricole, inevitably evokes a sweet ti'punch.
"A sweet, lemony punch, to be enjoyed chilled or on the rocks..."
