Malecon Rare Proof Vintage 2014 is a very old rum from Panama. The Malecon brand is the brainchild of Marco Savio, a leading rum specialist based in Italy.
This is a molasses rum distilled in a single column. After 7 years' aging in the tropics, ex-bourbon oak casks from the 2014 vintage were bottled after a slight reduction.
