Marsolle Punch Planteur is a traditional West Indian punch recipe. Produced in the Guadeloupe town of Sainte-Rose, on Basse-Terre, it's the fruit of the Marsolle family's ancestral know-how. This family is one of the oldest in Guadeloupe, and still resides on the Domaine de Séverin.
This planteur is made from white and aged agricultural rums, fruit and cane sugar. Enjoy it chilled at any time of day.
Nico's tasting notes
The first impression on the nose is that of rhum agricole, with a certain strength and even a terroir-like character. It's not a simple fruit juice, but a real planter with sweet, exotic fruit aromas.
On the palate, the velvety sweetness of guava delights the palate, and the punch is surprisingly not overly sweet, which is particularly pleasing. The exotic fruits are fresh and gently perfumed, and unlike the nose, the rum remains relatively discreet.
"A very pleasant punch, light and pleasantly fragrant..."
