This white rum is the work of the young Sicilian distillery Alma.
It is distilled from the pure juice of the “Violette” sugarcane variety. Distillation is done in a copper pot still heated in a bain-marie after fermentation of the pure cane juice for 72 to 96 hours.
The first batch of this expression from the 2024 harvest produced 1000 numbered bottles.
