The bottle of the famous Dominican Republic Matusalem rum is presented here in an original box that doubles as a musical instrument: the güiro. A special "comb" is supplied, which can be rubbed against the grooves of the güiro to produce a sound.
The güiro is a wooden percussion instrument found in Cuba and Puerto Rico. The güira is the Dominican version of this instrument. It's made of metal with a handle, just like our set!
