New Grove 2007 Beau Plan is a pure product of the Mauritian terroir, a single estate rum that has been produced on the estate, from cane to bottling. In fact, Beau Plan is a tribute to the place where the magic happens. It's the name of the district in the town of Pamplemousses where the distillery and ageing cellars are located.
This molasses rum was distilled in columns, then aged for 13 years in two different types of cask. Although both are French oak casks from the Limousin forest, some of them are new, while others have already contained cognac for many years. These complementary profiles, skilfully blended, have made it possible to create this small batch of 1988 bottles, part of the "Savoir-Faire" collection.
