Produced in Alsace , in Steige, by the artisanal distillery Jos Nusbaumer, Framboise d'Exception is part of a range dedicated to eaux-de-vie that showcase the expertise of the house and its particular approach to fruit distillation.
This vintage is distinguished by a specific production method: the raspberries are macerated for three weeks in a high-proof raspberry brandy before undergoing a second distillation . This process allows the work to focus on the fruit and is one of the defining characteristics of this rum.
After distillation, the eau-de-vie is brought to its final strength of 45% ABV using spring water from Steige, naturally filtered by the schist rocks of the Vosges Mountains. Cold filtration completes the production process.
The Framboise d'Exception is presented in an amber glass bottle, designed to protect the spirit from light. A wax medallion, applied by hand in the distillery's workshops, completes this elegant presentation.
