Ophyum 12 ans is a creation of the Oliver family, originally from Cuba and now based in the Dominican Republic. It brings together rums from the Caribbean, blending them and giving them additional maturation in Solera. Molasses rums of different ages are blended to harmonize and enrich each other.
American and French oak barrels were used for this cuvée. Their varied profiles allow the maestros roneros to compose a blend as they would a painting.
