Providencia 1878 Fine Golden Rum is a blend of rums from 4 different origins. This brand was created by the English group Mayfair Brands Ltd.
The name Providencia 1878 was inspired by a shipwreck off the Florida coast. According to legend, the ship was carrying coconuts, rum and cigars to Spain. The captain and crew seized the goods and settled in the Palm Beach area, where they grew coconuts.
This blend is composed of rums aged 3 to 5 years in bourbon casks. The rums come from Trinidad and Guyana.
