Renegade Pre-Cask Lake Antoine Upper Crater Lake South is a pure sugarcane juice rum from the island of Grenada. The brand highlights the island's terroir, the expertise of local producers, and the transparency and traceability of its rums.
The Purple Tallboy cane variety is grown on the steep slopes of the "Upper Crater Lake South" terroir, formed by a volcanic crater lake. These canes benefit fromash-rich silty-clay soil and salt-laden trade winds from the Atlantic Ocean.
The rum was distilled in January 2021 in an iron still after a 60-hour fermentation. It then rested for many months before being bottled in 3,654 units in February 2022.
