Rhum de Ced Kumquat Café is an arranged rum made from coffee roasted by an artisan in the Rhums de Ced region (south-west of Nantes).
Half the coffee comes from Colombia ("Supremo" from the Quindio department, in the middle of the triangle formed by Bogota, Medellin and Cali) and the other half from India (Babaduban from the Karnataka region, in the south of the country).
Rhum de Ced Kumquat Café is made from AOC Martinique Agricole rum, cane sugar syrup, kumquat, coffee and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar.

Her dress is straw.
To the nose, this is an explosive combination! We have both coffee and kumquat independently, as well as a combination of the two. The heavy, roasted aroma of the coffee, on the one hand, and the freshness and acidity of the kumquat, on the other, come together very well.
On the palate, the two ingredients once again combine beautifully. The whole is also very sweet.
The finish is quite long and, while kumquat is present at first, coffee quickly takes over and clearly dominates thereafter.
