This Rum of the World bottling is a traditional 5-year-old molasses rum from Mauritius.

Following distillation in 2018, this rum was aged for 2 years in American oak barrels in the tropics. After traveling to Europe, it spent a further 3 years in ex-cognac oak barrels.

The label features the Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire, the highest mountain in Mauritius.
