The range of the Saint James distillery continues to grow year after year. It is the turn of an extra old AOC Martinique agricultural rum to enrich the collection.
This is a Single Cask from the 2003 vintage. For this exclusive cuvée, 12 casks were selected by Marc Sassier, the distillery's Cellar Master, and then bottled separately. The cask number and bottle number are written on each label.
The barreling took place on November 10, 2003 for unloading 18 years later, on December 3, 2021. These are 200-liter American oak barrels. The particularly dry harvest year, combined with the long aging, make this vintage a product of rare intensity. In addition, the rum benefited from a long rest in vats for 2 years before being bottled.
This edition is limited to 1750 bottles.
