Tres Hombres n°48 is a molasses rum cuvée from the Dominican Republic.
The rum which comes from Oliver & Oliver has been aged for 18 years using the solera system in Bourbon barrels.
He then crossed the North Atlantic aboard the brigantine Tres Hombres. The crossing was made by wind power alone, the sailboat not having a thermal engine.
For the journey, the rum was transferred to Olorosso Sherry, Moscatel and Vin Rouge barrels.
Each bottle is decorated with motifs evoking the journey this vintage has taken.
