Ypioca Ouro Cachaça is aged for 1 year in balsamo casks. This is a type of wood found only in southern Brazil.
No sugar is added to this cachaça. Since 1846, the family distillery has been run by several generations. They have continued to produce this eau-de-vie in keeping with tradition for over 170 years.
