Bowmore
Bowmore is a distillery located on the Isle ofIslay in the village of Bowmore.
This is the island's oldest distillery. It was founded in 1779 by John Simpson.
Today, it is owned by Suntory, the venerable Japanese spirits conglomerate (founded in 1899).
Less peaty than the island's other whiskies, Bowmore whisky offers a varied range. Read less
