Domaine de Courcelles

Domaine de Courcelles is a Guadeloupe distillery established on Grande Terre in the 1930s. It closed in 1964, but its stills were moved to the Sainte-Marthe distillery, where its rums were produced until 1972.

The estate produced rums de sucrerie, or traditional molasses rums. The last barrels in the stock were left to one side until a merchant bought them in 1998. They were then moved to Marie-Galante to be transferred to oak foudres. Read less
