Ultimatum Rum

Ultimatum Rum is a series of bottlings from The Little Distiller. This is the rum brand of Dutch importer Van Wees. Brothers Han and Maurice Van Wees originally owned a spirits store in Utrecht. In 1994, they began importing and bottling their own whiskies under the name The Ultimate label.

In the 2010s, they turned their attention to rum, and began offering single casks. Their philosophy is to bring maximum transparency, and to bottle rums without sugar, coloring or cold filtration. Later, they began offering their own blends, such asUltimatum Infinitum. Read less
