West Cork Distillers is a distillery founded in 2004 at Union Hall in County Cork, Ireland. It was set up by three childhood friends, in line with the renaissance of Irish distilleries. Following their success, they moved to Skibbereenen in 2013, still in their home region.

Today, West Cork produces malt and grain whiskies, with blends of local barley and wheat. It has 8 pot-stills in which it practices triple distillation, and 2 columns.

The distillery produces a wide range of officially bottled whiskeys. These include blends, single malts, whiskeys and a cask strength. The Glengarriff series combines innovation and tradition, with experimental aging in local wood, for example.

It also distills on behalf of other brands such as Dromberg, Kennedy, Lough Hyne and The Pogues Irish Whiskey, in collaboration with the famous Irish band. Read less
