These 2 boxes contain 4 x 5 centiliter bottles. Each box is presented in an attractive made-in-France box, and comes with a tasting booklet describing each of the rums.
These are the boxes for July 2022 and August 2022 (see our "box of the month" offer). We're selling surplus stock and are offering them for orders of 500 to 750 euros. Of course, if you wish, you can also buy them.
We recommend a tulip-shaped glass to concentrate the aromas.
The rums in the July 2022 box are best enjoyed in the following order:
- Flor de Cana 14 ans, a round, smooth rum from Nicaragua,
- Smith & Cross, a rum perfect for discovering the exotic character of Jamaican rums,
- Dillon XO 9 ans, an AOC agricultural rum made in the purest Martinique tradition,
Longueteau Punch Pomme Liane is a punch made in Guadeloupe, with subtle, authentic aromas. It's a delicacy to be enjoyed at a distance from the 3 other rums in the box, well chilled as an aperitif, for example.
The rums in the August 2022 box are best enjoyed in the following order:
- Rum Nation Guatemala Gran Reserva, a delicious yet complex rum,
- XM 12 ans, a very smooth expression of English-style rums, and a good way to discover the Demerara style,
- O Reizinho 3 ans Brut de Fût, a pure Madeira cane juice rum, rather dry without neglecting gourmandise,
Arhumatic Kiwi Ananas Mangue is an arranged rum to be drunk on its own, so that the sugar doesn't interfere with the rest of the tasting experience. Enjoy it as an aperitif, or with dessert.
Please note:
- You can find the live tasting of this box on our youtube channel. You'll find the producers or distributors of these rums tasting and commenting on them, along with Nico from Rhum Attitude.
- The bottles are made of P.E.T. rather than glass. The main aim is to avoid breakage. P.E.T. preserves spirits perfectly, even for several years, without altering the taste, just like glass.
