Its "tulip" shape allows the eau de vie (in this case, rum...) to develop its aromas in the glass, then concentrate them towards the nose.
In addition, its foot avoids heating the precious liquid with the hand.
Manufactured by Chef et Sommelier, they are made of Kwarx: this highly transparent material (even more so than crystal) is perfectly recyclable and more resistant than conventional glass.
The packaging is specially designed to withstand shocks during transport.
Its "technical" characteristics are as follows:
- its 16.5 cl capacity offers 6 cl at breakage (the recommended maximum), whereas in reality 2 cl is enough for a tasting.
