AH Riise Black Spinel is the third and final vintage in “The Black Gem Collection” series. It joins the Black Coral and Black Larimar editions.
The Black Gem Collection pays homage to the black gems hidden beneath the soil and waters of the Caribbean. Black Spinel is one of the rarest gemstones found deep in the soil of the West Indies and Central America. This rarity is reflected in the number of bottles produced for the rum presented here. Only 5,570 bottles of this blend will be produced across seven batches.
As with the other two expressions, this blend is showcased in a decanter coated in matte black paint. This packaging highlights the work of the master blender at AH Riise.
