This pure cane juice rum comes from the Bielle distillery, located on the island of Marie-Galante .
This vintage of white rum benefited, within the Chais Saint Éloi in the Vosges, from maceration and slow reduction – to 59° for this version – in terracotta amphorae from Tuscany .
The natural porosity of terracotta provides delicate oxygenation which softens the sensation of alcohol.
This method of refining, carried out without heating, limits oxidation and fully preserves the aromatic richness of the rum.
