Arran 12 Years Master Of Distilling is a single malt from the Isle of Arran in Scotland. Established in 1995, the distillery is one of the last to remain independent. Its ideal location, on the superb site of Lochranza, gives it a balanced climate, close to the sea spray.
This whisky is part of the " Master of Distilling " series, in which master distiller James MacTaggart reveals his finest casks. It was aged for 12 years in sherry casks selected directly at the bodega by the master distiller. Then it underwent a final maturation in ex-casks of Palo Cortado, a rare dry sherry.
Bottled at 51.8% to retain all its character, this single malt is limited to 12,000 bottles.
