Matugga Golden Rum is made from sugarcane molasses grown in the rich red soils of East Africa. Distilled in Scotland, Matugga Golden Rum is aged in English oak casks.
Matugga Golden Rum can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as an excellent cocktail base.

Its color is - as its name suggests - golden.
Intense on the nose! It's characterized by aromas that are rarely associated with one another: cocoa, fruit (red and citrus), camphor and solvent. You're in for a real treat.
On the palate, the attack is slightly sweet. Most of the aromas found on the nose are present, but with a touch more pepper. It's a bit all over the place, but quite impressive.
The finish is very long. It is marked by medicinal and roasted aromas. They'll stay with you for a very long time.
