Arran
Arran is a distillery located in Scotland. It is located on the eponymous island, on which there was no whisky production for a very long time(19th century and most of the 20th century).th century).
Arran was born in 1994 and began distilling in 1995. Two years later, a visitors' center was opened. Then, in 1998, their very first whisky hit the market.
The range then expanded, testing peaty versions such as "Machrie Moor" in 2010. Finally, in 2017, Arran doubled its production capacity, reflecting growing demand.
Today, various versions are available for tasting. In addition to the "Robert Burns" blend, the "Robert Burns" single malt and the Lochranza Reserve, the distillery offers aged versions: a 10-year-old, a 14-year-old, an 18-year-old and editions offering finishes(amarone, port, sauternes and marsala...).
Of course, limited editions have also been released, such as the Smugglers trilogy and Devil's Punch Bowl. Read less
