In fact, the cane is grown on the mineral-rich volcanic soil of Herrera province. The fermented molasses is continuously distilled in a classic 1922 copper and brass still at the Las Cabras distillery.
This is a selection of 8-year-old rums, aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels with a local chocolate maceration that adds an original, natural flavor.
