Brin d'Amour is the name of the second vintage in the “Intarsia” collection. Launched with the Karakoli vintage, this collection is enriched with a 4-year-old rum.
Unlike the Karakoli vintage, whose canes came from the dry plots of Spoutourne, Brin d'Amour is made from canes from the wet plots of Dufferet.
This is therefore a rum from the Baie des Trésors Fruits des pluies vintage, which has been aged for a long time.
This aged agricultural rum was aged in French oak barrels. According to the Martinique AOC specifications, this rum could qualify for the VSOP designation.
The Dufferet plots are located at high altitude near the Caravelle Peninsula. Located not far from the ocean, they are characterized by volcanic soils. They also benefit from regular rainfall and therefore high humidity.
